Groove Mind Tutor Parental Consent Agreement
Last updated: 16 July 2026
This Parental Consent Agreement records the consent a parent or legal guardian gives before a child uses Groove Mind Tutor, operated by Make It Work Solutions.
1. Parent or guardian confirmation
By checking the parental consent box during signup or student onboarding, you confirm that:
- you are the parent or legal guardian of each child you add to Groove Mind Tutor;
- you have authority to consent to the child's use of Groove Mind Tutor;
- the child's profile information is accurate and appropriate;
- you have reviewed the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; and
- you will supervise the child's use of Discord and Groove Mind Tutor.
2. Consent to tutoring and AI processing
You consent to Groove Mind Tutor providing AI-assisted tutoring to your child through Discord and related service surfaces. You understand that tutoring messages, prompts, answers, feedback, assignments, quizzes, and related context may be processed by Groove Mind Tutor and its service providers to operate the service, generate responses, maintain safety, provide support, and improve reliability.
3. Discord use
You understand that Discord is a third-party platform with its own terms, privacy practices, account controls, and age requirements. You are responsible for deciding whether Discord is appropriate for your child, configuring the child's Discord account safely, and monitoring the child's use.
4. Safety and content expectations
You agree to help your child use Groove Mind Tutor respectfully and safely. Your child should not share unnecessary sensitive data, private family information, passwords, payment details, illegal content, or content that could harm themselves or others. Groove Mind Tutor may limit, review, or escalate activity where safety or policy concerns arise.
5. Educational limitations
You understand that Groove Mind Tutor is a learning support tool and may make mistakes. AI responses are not guaranteed examination answers, official grades, school advice, medical advice, legal advice, or emergency support. Parents and students should verify important information with appropriate trusted sources.
6. Billing and access
You understand that child access may depend on an active paid plan, pilot eligibility, or account status. Groove Mind Tutor may suspend or remove access if billing fails, consent is withdrawn, safety concerns arise, or the account is closed.
7. Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw consent or request removal of a child from Groove Mind Tutor by contacting support or using available parent-dashboard controls. Withdrawal may stop the child's tutor access. Some records may be retained where required for legal, safety, accounting, support, or dispute reasons, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Agreement record
Groove Mind Tutor may keep a record of consent, including the parent account, timestamp, policy versions, and student association, to demonstrate that consent was provided.
